Paris Hilton and Nicole Richie reunite for the 20th anniversary of "The Simple Life" and decide the best way to celebrate their iconic friendship is to take to the high arts. They announce that they will write, produce and star in an opera based on their famous childhood song, "Sanasa". To stage their opera, they visit their origin story for inspiration before meeting with esteemed members of the fine arts community and then taking on the daunting task of staging an opera from a single word.
