Story
Miami, 1991
With his bloodthirsty desires no longer to be ignored, young Dexter Morgan must learn to channel his inner darkness as he transforms from student to vengeful serial killer under the tutelage of his father Harry, now older than James Remar Showrunner Dexter (2006). That was followed by Dexter: Resurrection (2025).
Of course I loved it
I watched all the seasons of the original Dexter series, I hate it, I admit, more than once. I watched New Blood and found it to be good.
I think this prequel is better so far
Like many other fans, I thought the Freudian ending was, well, lame. Maybe it’s all about the familiar characters, the love that they’re all back, and the show doesn’t fall far short of what we expected in that regard.
Right down to Deb’s mouth and Masuka’s trademark laugh
