Story
KJ and Dan struggle to communicate. A few years into a strained relationship, the couple take a weekend trip to a friend’s cabin to rekindle their romance… only to find a dying-but-not-quite-dead mouse stuck to a glue trap. They disagree on how to handle it, KJ advocating a quick death while Dan suggests making the mouse’s last moments as pleasant as possible. The couple compromise and move on, slowly finding their way to each other in this idyllic setting. Unfortunately, their peace is disturbed by the arrival of a petite woman who can only be described as “eccentric” – she is the younger sister of their host and had no idea anyone was staying at the family lodge. It’s okay if she crashes, right? As the couple struggle to juggle this intruder onto their already strained dynamic, KJ and Dan begin to worry that this unsavory third wheel may threaten more than just their relationship…
