Story
A family convinces themselves they are not alone after moving into their new suburban home. While well-received at the Sundance Film Festival, some viewers left the film due to its intensity. One person said, “I can’t handle this stress this late at night.” Referenced in Amanda the Jedi Show: NIGHT SWIM is Garbage | Explained (2024). This is a fantastic film. The cast is excellent, and the film really draws you into their world and keeps you engrossed in what is happening. I found myself quite absorbed in the drama and suspense. The ending was haunting and stayed with me for a few days, which is pretty rare for a film. I think this will be a very popular film once it comes out. If not for some reason, it will be popular years from now and people will wonder why it wasn’t more well-known when it came out. I’d like to watch this again, but only with a friend present to see if he’s as haunted as I am by the aftermath.
