I think the script starts off pretty ordinary but then gets more and more interesting with the final treatment of sexuality and women, which is really extraordinary.
Also, Kidman clearly dominates the whole movie and her performance will definitely be remembered forever
Halina Reijin is also a talented director who also put an amazing club scene in this movie (one of the best club scenes I’ve ever seen in my life, it was like she wanted the whole Venice audience to bring out their inner hidden animal).
