Story

The Jackal is an elusive assassin who makes his living by executing murders for the highest price. He soon meets his match in a tenacious British intelligence officer who tracks him down in a thrilling cat-and-mouse chase across Europe. In The Day of the Jackal (1973), The Jackal also drives a white Alfa Romeo, albeit a model from an older generation.

I love everything Eddie Redmayne does

Referenced in Graham Norton i gosti: Denzel Washington/Paul Mescal/Saoirse Ronan/Eddie Redmayne/Blossoms (2024). He has a vulnerability that makes me want to dig deeper into the characters. Here, as a stone-cold killer he’s a stretch, IMHO, but makes sense as one “hiding in plain sight.” As others have already pointed out, the female lead just ruined it for me.

Neither her acting nor her on-screen persona is worthy

It’s a mystery to me why he keeps getting badass female roles. We have so many other talented actors to choose from. I didn’t think much of her in Captain Marvel, I liked her wearing the 007 number even less and now she just ruins scenes every time she appears.

Season 2 has already been renewed

Her character doesn’t help her either. I will watch the series until the end, but… it’s so sad that this series can’t be rewatched.

I don’t know how the story will play out yet, but I hope they change Bianca’s character in some way
